The Koide Lab offers exciting research opportunities in synthetic protein science at the interface with biology and medicine. We are always seeking highly enthusiastic graduate students and postdocs to join our team, particularly those individuals who like to "think different". Successful candidates should have research experience in relevant fields including molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, chemistry, biophysics and/or cell biology. Interested applicants should send their CV and cover letter to Prof. Shohei Koide

We also often seek staff scientists at all levels. Send inquiry about current openings to Prof. Shohei Koide.

Koide lab is a member of the Recombinant Antibody Network (RAN) and the Membrane Protein Structural Dynamics Consortium.
Shohei Koide is a Scientific Co-Director of the Chicago Biomedical Consortium (CBC).

Our members are associated with the following research and training programs at The University of Chicago:

The Koide Lab has been supported by the U.S. National Institutes of Health, the U.S. National Science Foundation, the U.S. Department of Defense, the Chicago Biomedical Consortium, the Structural Genomics Consortium, and the FSH Society.
